The volumes at Granudden terminal in Port of Gävle have been high throughout the third quarter of 2020 despite covid-19. The warehouses at Granudden have been full at times thanks to the customers extensive production levels.
Two new warehouses were built last year in order to offer more storage space at Granudden for customers. This year has shown that the warehouses were much needed and a valuable investment for the terminal. During 2020 the warehouses at Granudden have been fully stocked several times. And the demand for storage space continues to exist from the customers.
– Right now, the warehouses are full and the ones we built last year contains 10,000 tonnes of bale, reel pulp and paper rolls. I am glad that our customers have managed to keep production going despite the crisis during this year, says Stefan Andersson, Terminal Director at Granudden.
